Western United FC yesterday suffered their first loss in round two of the Telekom S-league (TSL) competition after being edged 2-1 by X-Beam FC yesterday.
Kidston Billy got the scoring underway for X-Beam followed by a second by Karol Kakate just before the half time break.
Western United replied with two quick goals by Himson Teleda and Timothy Bakale later in the second half to level the scores.
But United could not keep the scores level for long as Joses Nawo rammed home the winner from a perfect cross by Kakate.
Meanwhile former O’league rep, Koloale FC suffered their second upset in the second round who went down 2-0 by the underdogs Hana FC in the day’s second match.
New import Moussa Koroma once again had his name on the score sheet being the first to break the deadlock in the first half followed by the second by Henry Wasi to claim their first win of the TSL remaining half.
