THE USP Touch Association will host two more competitions following the successful business house competition last month.
The business house competition ended on April 2 at Albert Park where USP won.
Competition organiser Tevita Mau said the interest in the competition had grown and they wanted to capitalise on it.
“USPTA will be running a competition for school kids between the ages of 10 and 16 during the April-May school break at USP,” he said.
“There will also be a business house touch league for eight teams that will be running on mid-week from April 15.
“This was created due to the interest to continue playing after the business house competition last month.”
Mau said they met their goals of the business house competition and were interested in doing more.
“The main aims were to promote health through exercise within the workforce and active participation in sports, promote networking among participating business house teams, promote awareness of the sport of touch rugby to the business community and provide an experience to delight our customers.
“The teams confirmed for the business house league are JS Hill, Vodafone, Merchant/FHL, Justice, Water Authority and Telecom Combine.
“There are two spots left and interested business houses can join the competition.”
