THE inter-tertiary games for this year 2016 will be hosted by University of the South Pacific- Solomon Islands Campus (USPSI).
This annual event was an initiative for all Solomon Islands university students studying within and outside the country to come together and interact with each other through sports.
Solomon Islands National University (SINU) hosted last year’s event.
And at the end of the year USPSI students will be hosting the competition.
SINU sports coordinator Jimmy Luitolo said, that as the host for 2015, he wants to wish USPSI campus all the best in their preparation for the game.
“We have trust in you in hosting the next inter-tertiary games better than the previous ones,” he added.
“As a former host, I find out that it is very interesting to see all our students coming back from other universities and can get to know each other through this sport activity,” he said.
He also urged all other participating teams to get prepared for the competition later this year.
Luitolo said, last year most of the games were completed without much problem.
