THE Ministry of Health and Medical Services has announced that the vaccination rollout programme will start today (Thursday 27th January) at four locations.
The vaccination sites are:
· Burns Creek
· Fishing Village
· Lord Howe Settlement
· Namoruka Settlement (White River)
A statement from the Ministry said due to the community transmission status in the country no one from other communities should travel to get vaccinated at these sites.
“Remain at your respective communities and in your own homes,” the statement said.
It also asked vaccination communities to organise yourselves not to overcrowd the vaccination sites but to maintain social distancing and wear masks if available.
