The country’s second mobile phone provider Bemobile is now using the private and public transport in Honiara as part of promoting its newly launched 3G service, mobile products and the magic number 8 cheap calls.
This will run for a month.
Bemobile sales officer Elma Lekevolomo told the Solomon Star yesterday said the company had made a verbal agreement with a number of public transport operators and fleet to place the promotional stickers on their vehicle.
“We have started off this promotional since Monday and will run for four weeks in Honiara.
“So far we have huge numbers of public transport that got these stickers on their vehicle,” she said.
Ms Lekevolomo added the promotion is getting bigger and people are flooding into their stalls and office to know more about the promotions.
“People are coming in our office and awareness stalls to ask more about our newly introduce services and products.”
With the promotional stickers on public transport, she hopes more customers would learn about the new services and products.
Meanwhile Ms Lekevolomo thanked both the private and public transport that helped out in promoting the company’s products and service in the city.
