Dear Editor – As a victim of the April flash flood, I am honest to say from my heart that I am not happy with what NDMO has done to us.
They said we have settled now, but to me I am not. What they supplied to us to return and rebuild was not complete.
We can’t build a house with just iron roofing. I receive iron sheets with nothing else like nails and other materials to build a home.
How can I rebuild when I lost everything and nothing else to support me in this instance. How can those roofing iron be of use to me when there is nothing else.
Please let us be humane and honest in what we do.
Thank you for your understanding
