Visale Community High School in West Guadalcanal is appealing for supports from donors and government to complete some of its incomplete projects.
Principal Sr Veronica Boki highlighted this during the end year graduation ceremony of the school on Wednesday.
Ms Boki said the school has experienced ups and downs in its two years school development plan.
“Visale community high school have experienced ups and downs in 2013 and 2014 in its whole school development plan and this has resulted in an incomplete building within the school compound,” MS Boki said.
She said that there are much to be done in the school but school was unable to do it due to limited funds.
“There is much to be done in this school in terms of school infrastructure development but since we have limited funds obviously some buildings are incompletes.”
“Therefore as the head of Visale community high school I urged communities, governments leaders and donors agencies to supports us the complete this buildings,” Ms Boki said.
Ms Boki acknowledged her teaching staff and students for being part of the school and make it a successful year.
Meanwhile she congratulated the 2014 graduates which included grade six, forms 3 and 5 students.
She challenged them to make good use of Christian and cultural principles gained from the school once they leave school.
“When there is a responsibility, commit yourself to do it and then you will be blessed accordingly. So be responsible and be yourself in your future endeavors.”
Attending the graduations on Wednesday were representative from Guadalcanal provincial education authority, Catholic education authority, community leaders, principal of Divit RTC, school board members and members of the Visale community.
