THE visiting American Hip Hop group, AUDIO PHARMACY will today hold an inspirational performing arts speakers program for young people in Honiara at the Police Club at Rove.
Audio Pharmacy, the four-man hip hop group, who are part of the American Music Abroad Tour 2013, arrived Tuesday organised by the U. S Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Association of American Voices to engage with people across the world through music.
The group is well known both domestically and internationally, having performed all across the United States and also in concerts and festivals in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, France, United Kingdom and Japan.
The program, organised by the Police Youth Club/Bluelight Solomon Islands in Collaboration with the Solomon Islands USA Consular Agency, is aimed at briefly enlightening and empowering the young people in Honiara on the impacts of performing arts and music.
All young men and women in Honiara are invited to attend the inspirational talk this afternoon, which will also feature live performances from the band itself.
The program starts at 4pm and will only be for an hour.
