The Solomon Islands Volleyball Federation (SIVF) is inviting those who wish to become a volleyball referee to attend their upcoming clinic to be host towards end of this month.
SIVF stressed this to Star Sports in a statement on Thursday.
“We invite only first 15 candidates for our indoor volleyball national referee clinic leading up to the National Solomon Games in July 2016,’’ SIVF said.
The workshop will be held here in Honiara between 27 June to 1st July 2016.
“Anyone who is interested to become a future volleyball referee, please this is your opportunity to take advantage of it.’’

SIVF added the eligibility age of those who are interested to enroll must above 18 years and must not above 40 years of age.
“The federation will encourage young girls and boys to take up volleyball refereeing as his /her long term dream to become an international Referee.
Meanwhile Star Sports understands the instructor to conduct the workshop is Ms Catriona Tweedie from Australia (AUS) nominated by the Asian Volleyball confederation.
