The National Club Volleyball Championship has ended its pool matches at Town ground volleyball courts on Sunday 22 May 2016.
Morris Maitaki President, SI volleyball federation said the semi-finals will be taking place today at Multipurpose Hall – 25th May 2016 at 4:00pm.
At the conclusion of all the round robin matches the following teams has made their way into the semi-finals as follows.
Womens Competition
1. Westside ( 10 points) vs Foimana ( 5 points)- 4pm
2. MOI ( 8 points) vs Renbel (7points)- 5:30pm
Men’s Competition
3. Bmobile ( 10 points) Vs West Honiara (7 points)- 6:30pm
4. MIX Boys ( 9 points) Vs Sogiwa ( 8 Points) 7:30pm
Meanwhile the grand finals will be taking place on Sunday 29 at 12:30pm.
Maitaki is appealing to all the participating teams to pay up their registration fees before they take on their semi-final matches.
The entrance fee will be $5.00 for none players and $2.00 for players and children.
The ground finals will be $10.00 for none players and $5.00 for players and children.
“I would like to thank all the participating teams who made it to the semi-finals and those that are participating.
“The federation is also planning another open club tournament in June during Queen’s Birthday public holiday. This is part of our build up events before the national Solomon games in July from 2-14 2016.”
