WANEAGU United FC has congratulated six women football players for making it into the final U19 Women’s squad that will be participating in the OFC U19 women’s championship to be held in Fiji.
The six players are Naomi Sirionga, Primrose Maetoloa, Hellen Reubinson, Jemina Lomo, Samantha Lise, and Easter Maefasia.
In a statement, Wilson Orisi of Waneagu United FC said being selected to be part of the national U19 squad supports the club’s objective to help young Kwaio girls and boys to further develop their skills and talents.
“Congratulations to six of our Geniagu players who were being selected into the final national U19 Team.
“The objective of establishing our Waneagu United Football club is to provide an avenue upon which our young Kwaio girls and boys and those who comes through Waneagu to develop their skills and talents.
“Geniagu United FC is our women’s team playing under the Waneagu United FC,” he stated.
Orisi thanked the coaches, managers, parents, guardians, sponsors, supporters and SIFF for believing in the youths.
