THE Honiara Football Association (HFA) league defending champions, Solomon Warriors FC is back on the second spot in the HFA premier division tally after a slight drop following the previous weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Northern United.
Warriors retained the second position with 29 points, five points behind leaders KOSSA FC who maintained its pole position with 34 points and two points ahead of Northern United with 27 points on third place.
Last week, Warriors slid one place down the ladder but managed to make a return to the second position which will keep a close run to the current leaders.
Northern United slide back to third after failing to win against Makuru FC in the mid week match.
Realas FC leads division 1 also with 34 points, CY Strikers FC second with 30 points and Waneagu United FC on third place with 26 points.
Division 2 tally is led by Sokamora FC with 32 points, Islanders FC on second with 29 points and Henderson Eels with 28 points on third place.
Matches will continue this weekend.
