THE Telekom Super League (TSL) champions, Solomon Warriors FC left the country on Tuesday to Vanuatu for the OFC Champion’s League.
The OFC Champions league will kick off this weekend Sunday May 14th and will conclude on May 27th.
Solomon Warriors head Coach Franco Ne’e said it was an honour for him to lead Warriors to their seventh OFC champion’s league.
He said the team’s spirit is high and everyone is looking forward for the first game.
“It’s an honour for me to lead the team to the Oceania Champions league as coach.
“Im confident my boys are up and ready for competition, so we are going in with confidence and determination.
“It’s not going to be easy but we will take each game at a time and treat each match as the final,” Coach Ne’e said.
Coach Ne’e called on all the fans and supporters to throw their support behind the team since they are also representing the country in the OFC Champions League.
Solomon Warriors is in group A alongside Auckland City (New Zealand), Suva FC (Fiji), and Lope Ole Soaga (Samoa).
They will play their opening match against Auckland City on Sunday.
