Former Telekom S-league champions have regrouped with their latest signed players to prepare for the fifth season of the TSL competition.
Four of its members led by Vanuatu’s star defender Brian Kaltack and long time Warriors flanker Gibson Daudau arrived from Vanuatu yesterday to join up with the team.
Kaltack and the players wasted no time hitting the Maranatha Hall playing field for their first training session with the boys a few hours after arrival.
This inclusion is expected to boost their performance this season.
Kaltack and Kency Tangis have had their times with Warriors and the return is not something new.
Head coach, Moses Toata revealed to Star Sports early last week the club signed Brian Kaltack, Koloale’s midfielder Augustine Samani, Benji Kiko, Kency Tangis who featured in the previous season and Hekari’s Solomon striker, Tutizama Tanito.
There will be no clear favorites to win this upcoming season and the spectators will definitely be looking forward to a thrilling season.
The competition will be tough as teams are already making changes to boost their sides with best players.
A lot of changes have taken place within the teams with the hope of boosting their performance this season.
Eyes will also be focused on all teams as many players are reported to have opted to switch sides.
Numerous players have switched clubs making it more exciting when the season starts.
Defending champions of the TSL competition, Western United FC is also under the spotlight as it signs a bunch of new players.
The season is scheduled to kick off on August 22.
