Solomon Islands Football Club champions, Solomon Warriors have won their second friendly match against a tough TSL Select side on Sunday at the Lawson Tama Stadium.
The match ended with a final score 4-1.
It was a tough and equally contested match compared to their first friendly last weekend.
After fighting out ninety minutes of the first half both sides went into the breather with scores locked at nil all.
It was a penalty that gave Warriors the lead which Judd Molea had no problem in putting it to the far side of the post out of reach for TSL custodian, Felix Ray Junior to make the save.
This was shortly followed Molea’s second goal from a close range shot following of perfect combination of short passes in front of the goal mouth which put Ray in a pretty confused state.
Jeffery Bule then extended the lead minutes later before Jerry Donga slot home the fourth.
The Select side managed only one goal from Himson Teleda.
Meanwhile the second friendly match of the day also ended with a similar score of 4-1 in favour of the national U19 squad known as the Mamulas.
