THE West Kwara’ae Constituency Office has assisted students attending 16 secondary schools and Rural Training Centres (RTC) with part of their tuition last week.
This initiative is part of the constituency’s commitment not only to support parents and students but also to invest in school development activities.
A parent from Laugwata Community High School, Severino Silimae, expressed his gratitude to the constituency and West Kwara’ae Member of Parliament Alfred Tausulia for this generous initiative.
He said that paying school fees is a significant challenge for many parents, including himself, who are trying to ensure their children receive an education.
“This is a relief for me and my family, as it allows me to focus on the education of my other children in primary school,” Mr. Silimae said.
Deputy Principal of Trinity Community High School, Christina Kuti, thanked the West Kwara’ae constituency for contributing towards the payment of school fees because it would relieve many of the parents who are struggling financially to meet the children’s school fee for this year.
She emphasized that the funds would help the school meet some of its immediate priorities, particularly in terms of school development.
