WEST KWARA’AE voters are expected to go to the polls in a bye-election on 17th May this year.
The bye-election followed the death of Sam Iduri, who passed away earlier this year.
No other details could be obtained.
It is understood the Government, in consultation with representatives from the Constitution, has decided the date for the bye-election.
It is the 17th of May this year.
The West Kwara’ae bye-election will have been the third for the 11th Parliament, which will dissolve on 31st December soon after the 2023 Pacific Games has concluded.
The national general election for members of the 12th Parliament is due to be held on 17th April 2024.
