It’s interesting when I skim and scanning through the previous articles in the Solomon star regarding about the above caption.
There is years of silent about the team western united since its establishment not until criticism arose. There are positive comments been mention but I never seen it in practical demonstration and here is one of the positive suggestion been made.
Western United is for western players and the purpose to develop each provincial player’s skills. Before I further continue my contribution I want to pause few questions regarding the western united.
What is the accurate meaning of western united?
Does the previous Management of the club meet the criteria of every island in the western province?
How many languages and cultures do we have in every island in the western province?
Does every player in each island in the western province with different languages are in the club since its Establishment?
Why the previous management put most of their emphasis and selection in Munda?
Why western united does are dominant of Munda PLAYERS and recessive to every island in the western province players?
Is Rarumana, Munda, New Georgia, Koriovuku in North Rannogga, Obobulo in central Rannogga are the only island in the western province?
Why every western player in town does shy and nervous to join their club?
Is this the main purpose of the club establishment?
How can you western united founder cater for the living of each players if there’s no agreement and contract black and white sign when the demand of Honiara is increasing?
Do every rural and urban western people in each island in the western province known and while verse about this club since it establish?
Is there any workshop carried out in each island in the western province about the purpose of the club?
Is there any trials been organise in each island in the western province for the purpose of selecting players?
What type of competition is western united team currently participated under. Is it Solomon cup or western cup?
Is there any meeting been organise and conducted by the previous management to every provincial and parliament members that represents us western people?
Does our current provincial and parliament members aware about the establishment of the club?
Why is the previous management without any key western people from each island in the western province working in town?
Does the money collected under the club benefit fully every player in each island in the western province?
Is there any selecting committee been established in each island in the western province to select players?
Is the premier of the western province represents every island in the western province?
Why does ousting of players is the slap on the face of western united players’ founders while the name of the club is for whole western province?
Is there any accommodation been build by the previous management of western united to suits the purpose of the club?
Hey buddy, stop- using western united for personal gain and benefit when there’s no proper clarification and consultation about the team to every one of us western people in each island? How can you name western united when the above questions are not fully followed? This is not western cup and Solomon cup but it is TSL competition were different faces is expected because of agreement and contact offered to any interested players.
How can we improve when the previous selection panel still bias the way you conduct the selection? Founder of western united management are you sure that every footballers of western province agree with the previous selection? If the club is for western people then there should be a fair selection conducted to every island in the western province to reunite the relationship of every player with different language they speak. Instead the previous players are most dormant of Munda players with only one language they speak is this western united?
What the previous management of western united simply do is Munda players while verse with every language of each island in the western province starting from Rannogga , Wella la lawella, Simbo, kolombagahra, Rendova, New Georgia, Marovo. How can Munda player speak different languages in each island I make mention? stop confuse with the term western united as all of you are not meeting the criteria as yet because by looking at the term western united it should be the combination of every players in each islands in the western province that are different in religion, cultures, norms and languages they adapted.
Before everything is too late It’s high time now to CHANGE the name of the team western united because it still not meets its purposes. Rather use Roviana united.
More still the previous management of western united should realise that what they do is slap on the face of those islands in the western province that are not included in the team. Stop barking at the wrong corner but go and do your research in each island in the western province In order to solve the other side of the coin. Remember coin has two sides that have to be dealt with to balance the both side of the coin. By doing this you can reunite every player in each island in the western province as one to build a strong management with high capacity to galvanize every players to become motivated and reinvigorated by giving them the extra pressure to upper their commitment of competition to reach the hope of unexpected. This is what football is.
