Dear Editor – Could you pleased place my point of view in your letters to the editors column on the current political issues in our country.
It’s very interesting to see our national leaders fighting for their own interest, not our national interest.
Now we can see the DCCG and Opposition group are playing very hard to win the battle, currently as we hear the media play a very interesting role for us the people of Solomon Island to see and hear, the TAG OF WAR is currently taking place in our national Parliament until Friday this week when we will see who is the winner.
It’s good to see If DCCG government won the TAG OF WAR by the end of this week, all the proposed national projects for this nation will be effectively commenced because plans are all in the pipeline already especially all national project for Malaita.
And it is very bad if the Opposition won this TAG OF WAR by the end of this week, because we will start a new journey to develop our plan.
New government always comes up with a new ideas, plan, and new policy.
And as a result we cannot develop our nation. “GO BAEK LO GIA WAN MOA”, whilst DCCG are now ready to kick start its project plans for Malaita.
To conclude, I just like to ask our parliamentarians where is our national motto to lead is to serve?
I think our motto even grades two or three in our Primary Schools know it very well, and that is TO LEAD IS TO SERVE.
But today I realised our national motto is no longer upheld in our parliament by our elected members.
Instead, they are entertaining bribery, corruption, misconduct in office, and every sinful thought.
As a great example for us leader, Jesus came to save us.
And you Parliament members, we elect you to serve us too – not serve you and others first.
And lastly, I just like to congratulate my good Member of Parliament for North Malaita Jimmy Lusibaea in your new role as Minister responsible for Infrastructure Development.
I wish you the very best and may God bless you in your decision making.
