Dear Editor – I want to ask Mr. Jackson Ray to stop using the media to rubbish companies who have helped so much in the infrastructure development of the Solomon Islands.
In your first claim you argued that Kitano built the Kukum Highway and later you said that McConnel Dowell built the stretch of road.
I was wondering if you are a child of the 90s because you don’t really know which company built the Kukum Highway (Mataniko to KG).
If iu no savve then let me enlighten you on some facts. As a primary school student of the 90s I can still vividly remember that the Kukum Highway was built by a company called Kumagai Gumi not Kitano or McConnel Dowell like you argued.
McConnel Dowell built the stretch of road from City council to Town Ground (Mendana Avenue).
I hope you now get the facts and should be thankful to Kitano and McConnel Dowell for their contributions towards the development of Solomon Islands over the past years.
