IN general, Solomon Islands’ women are kind and generous – always demonstrating a united front to members of the public.
There are times though when emotions boil over. And when it does, they do not munch their words
Below is an indication of how fierce and tense rivalry amongst womenfolks could become. In the latest outburst, a woman Member of Parliament could not take the accusations anymore, especially when it is coming from their own kind.
The MP simply let go, accusing women leaders in the corporate world, including the National Council of Women (NCW) of “corrupting all the SIG funds for your own personal interest and (failing) to address our women and to pay up other NCW outstanding bills for many months and years.”
“What a shame on us women. NAFU (enough) for talk big lo talk back show but big snake hide lo skin lo hand.”
The MP’s blistering attack appears on face book this week.
