WORK on the much waited Kamaosi Road project in the Gao/Bugotu area of Isabel Province started on Monday this week.
Chief Hugh Tazzy Bogese of the area reported that machineries for the construction work were shipped and off loaded last week at Kasera port.
He said that the Isabel provincial government has contracted Glengrow, a logging company operating in the province to work on the project.
Chief Bogese reported that Sir Tuti College staff and students at Kamaosi and the surrounding communities are grateful that at last work on the road project has started off as they had expected it.
He said they are grateful and would like to thank the Isabel Provincial government under the leadership of premier, James Habu for their successful effort in facilitating the Kamaosi road project.
