NEWLY elected clerk of Western Province Gideon Tuke says, he is planning to hold a couple of public awareness programs on the roles of a clerk.
Mr Tuke said people need to understand a clerk’s role so that they understand how they are mandated to do their jobs.
He said a clerk holds an important office with vital roles that people need to understand.
“As such, I am planning to ensure the public knows what clerk’s are doing.”
He said since he was elected, conducting a public awareness about a clerk’s role was one of his aims.
