A YOUNG gospel band, Unix Jewels, this week returned from their two week tour of Port Vila, Vanuatu.
The group was part of a delegation from the Bethlehem South Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) that attended a convention in Port Vila last week.
According to the group’s manager, Tommy Mana, Unix Jewels is made up mostly of primary and secondary school students who took up the opportunity to witness to the many SSEC members in Vanuatu.
“The children used their talents to bless the hearts of our fellow SSEC members in Port Vila, and since then we have received very encouraging and positive feedbacks from them,” Mr Mana said.
“Also during the tour, we were able to take shots for our new DVD expected to be released sometime next year,” Mr Mana said.
He thanked Our Telecom for assisting the group during its tour of Vanuatu and also its upcoming tour of Makira this Christmas.
Asked what his Christmas message to the many youths of this country is, Mr Mana said young people must use their talents to praise God, the giver of all gifts.
He added that only then can one find true comfort, peace, assurance and happiness.
