A NATIONAL Referral Hospital vehicle doing rounds on New Year’s night reportedly suffered damages when some youths threw stones at it at Green Valley, east Honiara, on New Year’s night.
Reports reaching the Solomon Star confirmed the vehicle got hit by a hard object that broke through its glass at the back door.
The vehicle was transporting nurses to and from the hospital to attend to their work when the incident occurred.
A spokesman for Naha police told the Solomon Star three youths were arrested and dealt with on Tuesday.
“The suspects will face the court soon,” a spokesman said.
Police condemned the unprovoked attack.
The police spokesman urged youths to refrain from attacking public properties.
Social media users lambasted the youths for their unruly behavior.
