THE Yun’s Taekwondo Academy Solomon Islands is now open for both new and old interested fighters to register if they’re interested to join the club.
Yun’s instructor Joses Duddley told Star Sport yesterday, their registration is still open till Friday the 14th of January 2022.
He said for those interested, the registration fee is $150.
He said the Yun’s Taekwondo Academy is open for both male and female, from age seven (7) and up, however, he said for parents who want their children under the below the required age are also welcome to join the club.
He highlighted that learning martial art can build confidence for young children who struggled with low self-esteem.
“I have seen how our students gain confidence and make life-long friends while Practicing martial art,’’ he said.
He also urged women and girls to come forward and practice self-defense for their self-protection.
“The importance of this for our women and girls is, they can protect themselves from where ever they go,” he said.
