Zaira village on North Vangunu Island, Western Province will celebrate the 100 years of centenary since the arrival of the United Church next month, June 20.
Reports reaching the Solomon Star said, preparation towards the centenary celebration in the village is underway.
Solomon Island Community Conservation Partnership (SICCP) field Officer Tusa Jewia yesterday said, preparation in the village is underway because Zaira community will allow MPA area to be opened during the celebration for celebration.
“All United Church representatives in Munda, Gizo, Marovo and Honiara including Seventh day Adventist Church members will attend the centenary celebration.”
